This position will represent Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) in regards to commercial airplane parts sales and customer service in a specific region and serve as the primary point of contact for the customer for Material Services (MS) within the Commercial Aviation Services division of BCA.
The Ideal Candidate Must Have Demonstrated The Ability To Acquire New Sales By Building Relationships With Existing And New Accounts And Will Have The Main Responsibility And Accountability Of
Consistently delivers of quarterly and annual sales/business objectives/quotas.
Build customer relationship at various levels in order to support business growth and be perceived by the customer as solution provider.
Identify new sales opportunities for transactional parts and long-term part purchasing agreements and also new products opportunities through capturing customer requirements and behavior, collecting information on competitors’ products and gathering other forms of market intelligence.
Develop and implement account strategies and planning in order to achieve targets and share information within Boeing.
Plan and lead major campaigns, including leveraging resources MS organizations (including Boeing’s Aviall parts distribution business) and BCA as needed.
Manage sales pipeline through Boeing’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, including consistent maintenance of CRM through timely and accurate data input and updates.
Provide market feedback to the business.
Create MS product offerings value proposition in conjunction with product category management, product marketing and other company organizations.
Support financial reporting & planning.
Performs other customer related duties as assigned.
Proficient in the English language – both written and verbal.
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in either in Ethiopia or Kenya. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll, and will commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable laws of the country.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Addis Ababa or Nairobi. Boeing will not seek immigration and labor sponsorship for any applicants; this is the responsibility of the job candidate. Bachelor's degree required and typically 10 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 8 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
