Senior Security and Compliance Officer | Senior Accountant | Administrative Assistant | Dispute Handling Officer | Merchant Service Officer


Job Description:

Premiere Switch Solutions, S.C. is an electronic payment processing company established by some of the major commercial bank of Ethiopia It implemented a state of the art, multi- institution switch that is shared by banks to drive ATMs, POS, E-commerce Mobile banking and other payment channels.

Currently, the company has the below vacant positions and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for respective job openings.

1. Senior Security and Compliance Officer

M.Sc/ in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering OR relevant field of study

At least 4 Years of relevant experience for B.Sc OR 2 Years experience in related position for M.Sc

Work Experience and Description of Duties:
  • Applicant should have skills in the field of information security and technology with hands on experience in setting procedures, guidelines and directions for information security policies that are meant to protect sensitive data of the company from external and internal treat. It is also important that the applicant has sound knowledge on server and network technologies.
  • Additional to the above it is highly desirable that the applicant has computer security related certificates like CCNP Security, CCNA Security, CISSP, CEH. Familiarity with Security standards (like PCI DSS) and compliance management is a plus

2. Senior Accountant

Degree in accounting or finance

At least 4 years work experience

Work Experience and Description of Duties:

  • Solid knowledge about Ethiopian tax law, Knowledge of Accounting principles and standards, Experience with the Peachtree accounting and basic computer skill, Communication skill with high personal motivation and team playing ability is required & experience in share company setting will be preferable.
  • S/he will be responsible to Preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports & budget execution reports, Preparation of monthly payroll, maintaining and up to date records of all financial transactions, recording & classifying financial transactions and events in accordance with accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards, perform Bank reconciliation on time, Check any irregularity in the disbursement of the budget forecasted, cooperation with external auditors to carry out annual external auditing, supervision of day to day operation of accounting, declare monthly taxes and Perform other related duties as required

3. Administrative Assistance

B.A Degree in management or in other related fields

2 years related work experience

Work Experience and Description of Duties:

  • Management/leadership interest and ability, Microsoft Excel, Power point, Word, Excel
  • Following daily employee data and personal file management, Schedule and organize interviews, Preparing & administering bid. be a contact person for items to be purchased, Follow the company vehicles status (maintain Vehicle history, Garage follow up... .), Ensures timely renewal of vehicle insurance; and annual, inspection and registration, Arrange for the repairs of vehicles and other office equipment with assistant with other department, Perform other related duties as required

4. Dispute Handling Officer

BA in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related field

2 years Related experience

Work Experience and Description of Duties:

  • Collect dispute request report from member banks and analyze causes to proactively solve system related problems that contributes to chargeback, Follow alerts received from the fraud monitoring application and do the necessary investigation, Analyze all reported chargeback cases, to identify any new and emerging fraud trends, Timely respond to requests for information, regarding disputes and chargeback by member banks, Strictly follow Dispute and chargeback handling policy and procedures, Maintain a close working relationship with ether teams in the company, Follow updates in local or international card associations’ requirements and rules with regard to chargeback processing, Assist member banks in processing chargeback/ representments/ copy requests/ arbitrations/ pre-arbitrations/reversals/ Minimize fraud loss and chargeback rates through the proactive detection, prevention of suspected transactions.
  • Handle other complains related to dispute
  • Timely Respond to EJ (Electronic Journal) requests of member banks.
  • Complete and submit weekly and monthly chargeback activities reports to the Authorization and Monitoring Section Head.
  • Prepares daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports related to his/her activity.
  • Carries out any other duty as assigned by his or her supervisor

5. Merchant Service Officer

BA in Management, Economics, Marketing or related field

2 years of related experience

Work Experience and Description of Duties:

  • Prepare yearly promotional budget
  • Prepare periodic activity reports, Select suitable agencies for the production of promotional materials, collect bid from each agency &follows up production of the items and makes sure the timely delivery, Arrange for the acquisition of promotional goods, Propose ideas of better promoting of PSS, Prepare promotional and advertisement materials including newsletters, brochures, flyers and follows up implementation after approval, Proof read all promotional and advertisement materials before production or publication, Prepares adds and notices to be announced on newspapers and when approved follows up timely implementation. Handle marketing and promotion related correspondences with different promotional agencies. Organize events when necessary, Prints PIN mailers and timely distribute to member banks in the absence of the Operation officer who is responsible to print the PIN, Keeps in good condition and operates properly with equipment under his/her custody, Carries out other activities as assigned by the Manager. Marketing and Operations Department
