Recently, the Bank introduced virtual teller self-service machines—a modern banking experience that allows customers to complete transactions conveniently and securely from interactive teller machines (ITMs) located across the country.

Position: Legal Officer

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) or Master’s Degree (LLM) in Law

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of relevant legal experience, including at least 3 years in the banking or financial sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and timely legal advice to support the Bank’s credit operations and overall compliance framework
• Review and validate contracts, loan agreements, and legal documents to ensure compliance with Ethiopian laws and banking regulations
• Safeguard the Bank from potential legal risks and liabilities through proactive consultation and risk assessment
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper documentation and adherence to legal standards
