About Addis Bank S.C:
Addis Bank S.C (AdB) is a commercial bank established by a diversified group of shareholders, including Cooperatives, Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs), Iddirs, business organizations, and individual citizens. The major shareholders are Cooperatives whose members are predominantly low- and middle-income citizens.

AdB aims to provide inclusive financial services, support export businesses, manufacturing, and various service sectors. The Micro Finance Institutions also focus on meeting the financial needs of “unbanked” citizens.

Addis Bank S.C is recruiting for the following key positions:


1️⃣ Branch Manager I – Addis Ababa

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Economics, Management, or related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant banking experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, and control branch operations under District Office guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Manage customer service operations and handle complaints.
  • Oversee credit analysis, loan approvals, and collections.
  • Safeguard branch assets and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor financial performance and prepare reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, public institutions, and business partners.
  • Lead and coach branch staff to achieve business and service objectives.

Location: Addis Ababa


2️⃣ Deputy Director – District Office (Addis Ababa)

Education:

  • MA or BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, Economics, or related field.

Experience:

  • MA Degree: Minimum 6 years of banking experience; at least 2 years in managerial or 3 years in team leader roles.
  • BA Degree: Minimum 8 years of banking experience; at least 3 years in managerial or 4 years in team leader roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the District Office Director in planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling branch operations.
  • Review loan and guarantee applications and monitor branch business results.
  • Compile operational and financial reports, ensuring compliance with bank policies and service standards.
  • Support Branch Managers with leadership, coaching, and resource facilitation.
  • Promote sales and customer service culture across branches.
  • Coordinate with various departments to meet operational needs and identify operational risks.
  • Ensure timely submission of district performance reports.

Location: District Offices in Addis Ababa
