Buusaa Gonofaa Microfinance S.C. (BG MFI S.C.) invites qualified and motivated applicants to apply for the position of Internal Auditor.

Founded in 1999 and regulated by the National Bank of Ethiopia, Buusaa Gonofaa Microfinance provides flexible and efficient financial services to improve the livelihoods of low-income groups, with a strong focus on women, youth, and smallholder farmers. The institution offers sustainable credit and savings products to support community development and economic empowerment.

Position: Internal Auditor

Educational Qualification:

• BA Degree in Accounting and Finance, IT, or Social Sciences.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills in English, Afaan Oromo, and Amharic (both written and spoken).
• Recognized professional knowledge in accounting principles, financial procedures, and record management.
• Proficiency in computer applications related to finance and auditing.
• Ability to work independently with a high level of professional integrity.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for field assignments.
