Position: Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer
CCRDA is seeking a motivated and experienced Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to strengthen its M&E system, enhance data-driven decision-making, and support program effectiveness across member organizations.
Job Summary
The M&E Officer will:

Design, implement, and maintain CCRDA’s monitoring and evaluation framework.

Provide technical support in planning, data collection, and analysis.

Prepare high-quality reports and performance assessments.

Facilitate learning, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting
-
Develop and introduce participatory M&E tools and systems.
-
Support project teams in applying appropriate M&E methodologies.

Lead the collection and analysis of project performance data.
-
Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Facilitate internal review meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
-
Present M&E results and recommendations for program improvement.
2. Program Progress Tracking
-
Identify reliable performance indicators and ensure accurate data quality.

Track progress against annual plans and recommend corrective actions.
-
Mainstream gender, inclusion, and accountability principles across all projects.
3. Data Management
-
Design and manage M&E databases and data entry systems.
-
Ensure proper data cleaning, validation, and documentation.
-
Support staff in using tools such as ODK, Kobo Toolbox, and Power BI.
4. Capacity Building
-
Conduct training sessions on M&E tools and methodologies.

Strengthen partner organizations’ data management and reporting capacities.
5. Knowledge Management
-
Document best practices, success stories, and learning briefs.

Facilitate experience-sharing workshops and learning events.
Qualification and Requirements
Education:
-
MA/MSc or BA/BSc degree in Statistics, Demographics, Economics, Public Health, or related fields.

Advanced certification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Statistics, or Data Analysis is an asset.
Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in M&E roles.

Prior experience in NGOs or development organizations is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Competencies

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience in data analysis using SPSS, STATA, R, or Excel.

Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills.

Proven ability to design data collection tools and manage complex datasets.

Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities.

Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
