EthSwitch S.C. is the National Switch of Ethiopia, owned by all private and public banks, the National Bank of Ethiopia, Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Payment Instrument Issuers (PIIs), and Payment System Operators (PSOs).

EthSwitch’s mandate is to ensure interoperability between financial institutions, implement a domestic payment scheme, provide a national payment gateway, and offer shared infrastructure services for clearing and settlement across the financial sector.

Open Positions

1. Data Center Administrator II

Qualification:

• BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain data center infrastructure and facilities.
• Oversee generator, UPS, and air conditioning maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Handle network structural cabling and basic electrical installations.
• Ensure 24/7 reliability and uptime of the data center environment.

Duty Station: Addis Ababa

2. Billing and Collection Officer

Qualification:

• TVET Level IV / Diploma in ICT or Accounting or related fields OR
  BA degree in Accounting, Management, or related studies.
• 5 years of relevant work experience for diploma holders.
• For degree holders, some related experience is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue accurate invoices in line with contracts or purchase orders.
• Manage billing cycles (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly).
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, and Customer Service teams to validate billable services.
• Review billing data and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle credit memos, adjustments, and re-billing as necessary.
