Job Purpose
To support school feeding monitoring activities in Semera and surrounding areas, ensuring high-quality data collection and reporting. The role contributes to effective programme implementation and delivery of food assistance to vulnerable communities.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and monitor the implementation of school feeding programmes at sub-office and field level.

Prepare monthly field mission reports documenting programme progress.

Support partner capacity-building activities.
-
Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders on programme implementation, logistics, and distribution.
-
Consolidate monitoring issues and ensure timely follow-up.
-
Gather feedback from government counterparts and schools to improve services.
-
Provide schools with guidance on WFP monitoring tools and operational practices.
-
Participate in missions, assessments, surveys, and donor visits.
-
Report on food management and other programme-related issues.

Perform other related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
-
Secondary school certificate required.
-
Post-secondary certification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture, Nutrition, or related fields is an advantage.
Experience:
-
At least 4 years of relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation, or programme implementation.
-
Humanitarian or development experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
-
Understanding of WFP’s programme and monitoring standards.

Ability to apply qualitative and quantitative methodologies in data collection and reporting.

Skills in data analysis and visualization.
-
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Languages:
-
Fluency in English and Afarigna (oral and written).
