MTI provides emergency medical and dental care in over 32 countries, deploying volunteer medical professionals and essential supplies to save lives during disasters and supporting long-term health programs with local partners.

MTI Ethiopia is currently hiring qualified and motivated professionals for the following positions:

1️⃣ Finance Officer – Addis Ababa

📌 Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

📌 Experience

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Finance & Accounting.

📌 Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic knowledge of non-profit accounting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with ERP systems and accounting software such as Sage, Unit4, etc.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools (Word, Teams).
• Ability to explain financial processes to non-finance staff.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and record-keeping abilities.
• Integrity, ethical conduct, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Commitment to MTI’s mission and adherence to the MTI Code of Conduct.

📍 Location: Addis Ababa

2️⃣ Logistics & Admin Officer – Jijiga

📌 Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience working with INGOs (International NGOs) is required.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS) preferred.

📌 Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in procurement and logistics.
• Experience with donor-funded projects (UN, USAID, etc.) and asset/procurement compliance is an added advantage.

📌 Knowledge

• Strong understanding of supply chain management (procurement, tendering, contracting, clearance, warehousing, distribution, transport, fleet, and asset management).
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Familiarity with donor-specific logistics procedures and grant requirements.

📌 Skills

• Skilled in using ERP systems for inventory and logistics management.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, databases).
• Effective communication in Amharic, Somali, and English.

📌 Abilities

• Ability to ensure asset security and ethical use of resources.
• High organizational and quantitative ability.
• Strong record-keeping with accuracy.
• Commitment to MTI Calling and Code of Conduct.
