Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity PTVA Tester to identify and assess security vulnerabilities in our systems, networks, and applications. The successful candidate will conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to strengthen our security posture.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct penetration testing on networks, systems, and web applications

· Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans

· Identify security weaknesses and potential attack vectors

· Exploit vulnerabilities in controlled environments to assess risk

· Document findings and prepare detailed technical reports

· Provide recommendations for remediation and security improvements

· Simulate real-world attack scenarios and social engineering tests

· Stay current with latest hacking techniques and security tools

· Collaborate with development and IT teams to address security issues

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field

· Strong knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools

· Understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies

· Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys

· Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell

· Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent report writing and communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications

· Professional certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or GWAPT

· Experience with penetration testing tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux

· Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and web application security

· Previous experience in ethical hacking or security testing roles

· Understanding of secure coding practices
