About the BRIDGE+ Programme

BRIDGE+ is a five-year programme (November 2023 – December 2028) led by SNV Netherlands Development Organization, in partnership with Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and Agriterra.
The project is financially supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN) and aims to promote inclusive, climate-resilient economic development in Ethiopia through innovation, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.


Position Overview: Project Assistant Intern

The Project Assistant Intern will support the BRIDGE+ project team by providing programmatic and administrative assistance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain practical experience in project management, financial administration, and organizational operations within an international NGO.

Duty Station: Dire Dawa, Ethiopia


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and logistical support to the project team.
  • Assist with financial and project documentation management.
  • Support fleet management, procurement, and office coordination.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation.
  • Support event planning and coordination activities.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the project’s efficiency and effectiveness through organized administrative systems.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Financial Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience in project administration or support.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively both independently and within a team.
    • Familiarity with project support functions in NGOs is an advantage.
