Stand for Vulnerable Organization (SVO) is seeking a motivated IT Assistant for 2025. Fresh graduates in IT, Computer Science, or related fields are invited to apply and contribute to technology-driven social impact initiatives in Addis Ababa.

Position: IT Assistant

Location: Addis Ababa (with occasional travel to project or field sites)
Employment Type: Full-time

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, ICT, or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or above

Experience:

• Fresh Graduates, Classes of 2024 (2016 E.C.) and 2025 (2017 E.C.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support IT management under supervision of IT Specialist
• Assist in digital marketing, website management, and communication systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot technology systems
• Support innovation initiatives and technology-driven projects

Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of two or more Ethiopian languages is a plus
• Familiarity with digital communication tools (social media, email marketing, website management)
• Ability to work under pressure and beyond regular hours when required
• Commitment to teamwork, integrity, confidentiality, and learning
• Passion for using technology for social good
