About Wasasa Microfinance S.C.

Wasasa Microfinance S.C. has been providing sustainable financial services to low-income and rural communities since the year 2000.
Established by the Oromo Self-Reliance Association (OSRA), Wasasa obtained its microfinance business license (No. MFI/017/2000) from the National Bank of Ethiopia on September 20, 2000.

The institution currently operates 51 branches and 24 rural banks across 58 Woredas in the Oromia Regional State — empowering communities through access to savings and credit services. Wasasa continues to expand its outreach every year.

Position 1: IT Auditor

Education:

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or other related IT fields.

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 2 years specifically in IT and systems auditing.

Language Skills:

• Excellent command of English and Afan Oromo (both spoken and written).

Duty Station: Head Office – Sebeta, Alem Gena
Salary: As per the organization’s salary scale.

Position 2: Customer Service Officer I

Education:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, or other related fields.

Experience:

• No prior experience required (relevant experience is advantageous).

Additional Requirements:

• Exit Exam (where applicable).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Fluency in Amharic and Afan Oromo.

Required Number: 8 (Eight)
Duty Station: Branches in Oromia Regional State and Addis Ababa
Salary: As per the company scale.

Position 3: Branch I Manager

Education:

• BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Banking & Finance, or other related fields.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

Additional Requirements:

• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Proficiency in Amharic and Afan Oromo.

Required Number: 6 (Six)
Duty Station: Branches in Oromia Regional State and Addis Ababa
Salary: As per the company scale.
