Job Purpose
To support the monitoring and reporting of school feeding and resilience programs in the Semera Sub-Office area, ensuring accurate data collection, program accountability, and effective collaboration with government counterparts and partners.
Key Responsibilities
-
Coordinate and monitor school feeding implementation at sub-office and field levels in collaboration with local authorities.

Assist in planning, data collection, and reporting of program activities.
-
Prepare monthly field mission reports and document program progress.
-
Support capacity-building initiatives for partners and government counterparts.
-
Participate in assessments, surveys, and monitoring visits.
-
Provide technical guidance to schools on WFP monitoring tools and practices.
-
Ensure timely feedback collection and follow-up on identified issues.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
-
Minimum of a secondary school certificate.
-
Post-secondary certification in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Agriculture, Nutrition, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
-
Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in program monitoring, evaluation, or implementation β ideally in humanitarian or development contexts.
Languages:
-
Fluency in English and Afargna (spoken and written) is required.
Knowledge & Skills
-
Understanding of monitoring and evaluation principles.
-
Ability to apply quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
-
Competence in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Strong sense of integrity, teamwork, and accountability.
