Position: Customer Service Officer I

Location: Addis Ababa Branches
Employment Type: Full-Time

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or other related business fields.

Experience Requirement:

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant banking experience.

Key Competencies:

• Good understanding of general financial products and banking services.
• Sound knowledge of bank accounting systems, procedures, and branch operations.
• Strong communication and customer handling skills.
• Ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Working knowledge of the core banking system.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent front-office customer service at the branch.
• Handle customer account maintenance, payments, deposits, and collections.
• Process both cash and non-cash transactions accurately.
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and compliance with the bank’s policies and standards.
• Support the branch team in meeting customer satisfaction and service goals.
